After reading some of the posts this weekend, it reminded me so much of an ex-friend I had in my old neck of the woods. We were driving back from Tahoe about a month before the election and he got into it with one of his co-workers over who was going to win. They were texting back and forth and after listening to his counterpoints, I had to second guess myself on whether I was rooting for the right person to win. The guy was the epitome of the "low information" voter and he was getting bitch slapped. I thought to myself "wtf dude?". Many of the points you guys are arguing about you should be the one with the rational response and he should be the one with the emotional one. Instead, he would be the first one to respond with personal attacks and he made the dumbest counterpoints I've ever seen.

I hate to say it, but I truly believe that's where this forum has gone. Most of the intelligent ones rarely show up, and what's left are people that don't seem to have a lot going on upstairs. Not only can they not avoid juvenile discussions, but if the Useful Idiots are acting like 5 year olds, I can only say they are acting like 3 year olds. They're actually making the Useful Idiots look smart. Seriously, can we trade some of these guys to the other side?

I'll give you a trip report on the New Orleans trip next week. The level of conversation here is at an all time low.
